RIVERS formed in 2016 with Dan Hughes, Ed Coleman and Graham Stocks. All were former members of the bands Echoed In Earth and before that the Medicals.

After Echoed In Earth disbanded, Dan, Ed and Graham didnt want to stop playing music and decided to form a three piece covers band utilising the chemistry they have through years of playing together in various formats.

For a breif time Richard Fotheringham joined RIVERS playing rythm guitar and joing them for a handful of gigs around 2017

​

In December of 2019 Matt Wilson joined RIVERS, a long time friend of the band and with fantastic guitar playing abilities, Matt has brought a powerful prescence to RIVERS and has boosted their sound to the next level.
